Hey everyone! This is a technique from long ago that I thought about the other day and wanted to share it.
The products I used to create this card are listed below, in text, linked to sites where you can purchase the product if you choose. FYI. A few of the products are no longer available.
My finished card size is 5.5 x 4.25 inches. I applied two inks, Rhubarb Stalk and London Fog (Simon Says Stamp) to the smooth side of the embossing folder (discontinued) using Blender Brushes (Simon Says Stamp).
I then placed a white piece of linen cardstock, 4-7/8 x 3-5/8 inches, (Paper and More) on top of the raised part of the embossing folder and folded the inked portion of the folder over the white cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot die cutting machine (Michaels).
After removing the white cardstock from the embossing folder; I adhered the piece to a silver metallic paper and then adhered both pieces to the linen cardstock base.
I stamped a thank you sentiment (discontinued) on a piece of black cardstock with Versamark Watermark ink (Stampin' Up), covered it with Ranger Silver embossing powder (Simon Says Stamp), dumped the excess powder off and melted the remaining powder with my heating tool. Cut the image out with my paper punch and adhered it to the card using Dimensionals.
Please reach out if you have any questions. Happy Crafting!
