Quick and Easy Card: Stenciling & Masking

Hello All! Welcome to my first blog where I share one of my favorite techniques, coupled with stenciling.

If you are wondering what I used in this video; the products are listed below, in text, linked to sites where you can make a purchase. FYI. A few of the products I used are no longer available (noted beside the product).

My birthday card is 5.5 X 4.25. I inked over a hexagon stencil that I purchased from Walmart with three colors of dye ink: Regal Rose (discontinued), Daffodil Delight and Baja Breeze (discontinued).

I added flowers on the hexagons using a stamp set from Stampin Up (the set is discontinued and I no longer have the name) and polka dots in the center of the card using Grunge Borders Stamp Set by Sweet n' Sassy Stamps (discontinued).

I finished the card by stamping and heat embossing Happy Birthday To You from the Altenew Birthday Greetings Stamp Set, die cutting the sentiment out with the Stitched Fishtail Flag Stax by My Favorite Things and adding a couple of buttons.

Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Happy Crafting!!!
